I have a visceral bond with Italy. While France is my homecountry, Italy is simply home. Each year I go back to Bologna as much as I can and each year I discover something new. Three years ago while going around the city, I found out a cute boutique called Hidden Forest Market. I am not really a fan of minimalism but I fell in love with their concept. Hidden Forest Market offers high quality minimalistic clothing for EVERYONE. Meaning each of their creation is adaptable to anyone’s style.
After my first purchase, I noticed I always came back to buy there trip after trip. I rarely buy offline but when I do it means customer service and quality are top-notch. Though it is pricey I can’t help admitting the label Made In Italy makes it special. Shape, cut, silhouette, materials, everything is made with extra attention, to the point that I would say the shopping experience is close to a luxury one.
*DISCLAIMER* This is not a sponsored post. It is just me longing for another trip to Italy to eat, breathe, sunbathe and shop Italian.
I immediately loved these culottes for their silhouette, feel – they are so soft – and colour. I usually pair them with a striped body and biker jacket but this time I just wanted to feel at ease. And for me this means oversize silhouettes. I paired them with a navy dress I wore as a shirt to contrast with their warm tone. The result is a silhouette that is far from being minimalistic but instead appears quite gauche.
